According to the higher education law numbered 2547, article 58/b, the unit serving as Research Fund from 1995 until the end of the fiscal year 2001 was closed and by restructuring that unit, "Scientific Researches Unit" was founded in accordance with the law numbered 93.23.944 by Higher Education Council on the 23rd session on 17.06.1993.
The aim of Scientific Research Unit of Kocaeli University is to support scientific and technological research projects planned within the university. The research fund and scientific research unit, which has supported several projects so far, will continue its works to enhance the scientific efficiency of our University with national and international publications.
